Google has unveiled a more varied scale of skin tones to create its artificial intelligence techniques.

The new Monk Skin Tone Scale, named right after Harvard University professor Dr Ellis Monk, has 10 pores and skin tones.

Google says it will swap out-of-date skin tone scales which have a bias in the direction of paler skins.

The tech corporation claim it will be employed to enhance merchandise like search and images.
