A Warwick Significant University math and technological innovation teacher was named this year’s Exemplary Pc Science Educator in Pennsylvania for his contributions to increasing the personal computer science area for all college students.

Jeffrey Wile won the award at the 2022 #CSForAllPA Summit in late June. He was selected from a pool of three finalists, which included Heather Hedderman of the Wattsburg Place College District and Elizabeth Woods of the Indiana Spot College District, according to a Warwick University District information release.

All 3 finalists spoke as section of a panel talking about their perform in advancing laptop or computer science possibilities within their respective districts and communities. Wile, for case in point, commenced a new regional Personal computer Science Teacher Association chapter that helped computer system science academics hook up to discover with each other and from each other.

“Reflecting about the past many years, I am thrilled with how far our computer system science plan at Warwick has developed and how Warwick college students have taken gain to study computing abilities in my classroom,” Wile explained in the news release.
